Dr. phil. Constanze Röhl

Constanze Röhl studied Archaeology of the Roman Provinces, Prehistory and Early History and Classical Archaeology at the University of Cologne. Doctorate with Prof. Thomas Fischer on the topic “Shivta. Architecture and Society of a Byzantine Settlement in the Negev”. After working as a project coordinator at the Roman-Germanic Central Museum in Mainz (2014-18), she has been working with Peter I. Schneider since 2019 to develop new methods of indexing material legacies at contaminated cultural heritage sites, using the specific example of production hall F1 in Peenemünde.
